PRYOR AND ASSOCIATES, P.C. - OWNER CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST
Meagan Pryor, Psy.D.
Dr. Pryor is a Clinical Psychologist with an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Rochester and a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University. While at Nova, Dr. Pryor completed clinical training in both outpatient community mental health and hospital settings, treating patients who suffered from a wide variety of emotional issues and psychological disorders. She then completed an APA accredited predoctoral internship at Cornerstone Behavioral Health in Evanston, Wyoming.
While in Wyoming, she worked in a residential treatment facility with patients who suffered from developmental disabilities, mental illness, and severe trauma. She also provided adult substance abuse treatment on an outpatient basis. She completed her Psy.D. in August of 2010 with a specialized concentration in psychodynamic psychology.
She went on to complete her postdoctoral residency in both private practice and state hospital settings. For the past 15 years, Dr. Pryor has continued to pursue additional postdoctoral training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy under Dr. Eugene P. Pryor, Jr., who is a Board Certified Psychoanalyst. She specializes in individual psychoanalytic psychotherapy with older adolescents and adults.
CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER - PSYCHOTHERAPIST
Lynn L. Grilli, LCSW
Ms. Grilli is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Following her Master’s education, she completed the three year psychoanalytic psychotherapy program at the Philadelphia Psychoanalytic Institute. Ms. Grilli has trained under and practiced with Dr. Eugene P. Pryor, Jr. for over 40 years.
In addition to her private practice work, she has worked in outpatient clinic and hospital settings, as well as in an inpatient addiction treatment center. She also currently teaches psychology and sociology courses at Luzerne County Community College.
CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST - PSYCHOANALYST
Eugene P. Pryor, Jr., Psy.D.
Dr. Pryor is a Doctor of Clinical Psychology and a Board Certified Psychoanalyst with graduate degrees in both adult and child clinical psychology. He is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. His training included three years of predoctoral internship, with his third year at Harvard and Massachusetts General Hospital where he continued on as a Clinical Fellow in psychology for an additional three years. Subsequently, Dr. Pryor attended another six years of post-doctoral training at the Psychoanalytic Training Institute of the Contemporary Freudian Society where he graduated as an Adult Psychoanalyst. Dr. Pryor has practiced clinical psychology for over 50 years, and has practiced in Clarks Summit for over 40 years.
